LIVING A LIFE OF POSSIBILITIES

LIVING A LIFE OF POSSIBILITIES

‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27 NIV)

Possibility births new realities; it paves the way for great innovations, novel inventions and giant strides in Kingdom pursuits. It answers the question ‘Why?’ and poses another – ‘Why Not?’ Are you living in the realm of Possibilities? Or are you part of the teeming crowd groping in the dark of impossibilities? To achieve your goals and accomplish your God-given projects, you need to step out of the crowd! You need to start thinking ‘It is Possible!’

Possibility Living starts with Possibility Thinking. The Bible says, ‘For as he thinks in his heart, so is he’ (Proverbs 23:7). Spend time thinking great thoughts about God and great thoughts about the things God can do through you. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23 NKJV). Paul told us to think on “…whatever is true, …noble, …right, …pure, …lovely, …admirable, …excellent or praiseworthy…” (Philippians 4:8 NIV). The things we meditate on may build or negatively affect our lives. If you think it is not possible, then it will not be possible. Think great and noble thoughts; welcome fresh ideas and open your mind to new horizons. It all begins with your thoughts!

Possibility Living is enhanced by Possibility Speaking. Possibility Speaking is speaking positive things. Start by preaching to yourself anytime you are tempted to speak negative things. Just stop the flow and say something positive. Learn to speak positive things about your family, friends, future and whatsoever you find your hands doing. The Bible says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…” (Psalm 107:2 KJV). Jesus said,  “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23-24 NKJV). Our words are seeds that will bring good or evil fruits. If we speak positively, we will reap abundant positive fruits.

Possibility Living is made possible by Possibility Prayers. Possibility prayer is one that affirms God’s greatness, a prayer that talks of the goodness of God. It is confident prayer; a prayer that is not beggarly but full of boldness. Pray with authority and confidence. Declare the promises of God for your life. David said, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust” (Psalm 91:2). Jesus told the Father, “…I know that You always hear Me…” (John 11:42 NKJV). He taught us that “everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:8-9 NKJV).

Finally, Possibility Living is when we take Positive Steps of Faith and do what God has called us to do. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. It is your acts that produce results, not your intentions. Today is the day of salvation, not tomorrow. So begin now to obey God, to act diligently, to work purposefully and to give yourself entirely to the work God has called you to perform. Never forget, it is God that works in you ‘to do’ but you must ‘work out your salvation.’ Align your goals with the purpose of God for your life, pray through them; act as soon as possible them, and go out in praises. ‘…For with God all things are possible!’
