GIVE LIFE YOUR BEST

Do you know that the future is Now! Are you waiting for a perfect time or you are taking steps towards your goals? Today I want to challenge you to give life your best! Decide to give everything you do total commitment; even if it is not convenient. It is not just meeting the requirement; it is doing the extraordinary. Don’t choose the path of least resistance, challenge the obstacles.

Always do more than it is expected. Do the extra. Exceed expectations. Extinguish excuses from your vocabulary. Excuse is a mental obstacle that paralyses progress. Block every exit door. Remember honour and glory never goes to the second place. They always go for the first. When you go the extra mile, you create memories that linger on in the mind of people. Jonny Johnson said, ‘The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little EXTRA.”

Always create positive surprises and actions. It leads to positive reactions and responses. “Don’t lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself and then do what is necessary to make it a reality” (Ralph Marston). Render more and better. Serve than you are being paid for.

Even when you are going through tough times, also think of others; not just yourself. Do the very best you can do. Do more than the minimum. Someone once wrote: I will do more than belong- I will participate. I will do more than believe- I will practice. I will do more than be fair- I will be kind. I will do more than forgive- I will forget. I will do more than dream- I will work. I will do more than teach- I will inspire. I will do more than earn- I will enrich. I will do more than give- I will serve. I will do more than live- I will grow. I will do more than suffer- I will triumph.

Give life your best! “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might, for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave where thou goest.” (Eccl. 9:10). Be the best of ‘You’ this week and you will be amazed at the wondrous results you will get. God bless you.
